We are sorry to announce that myNDarts has closed its virtual doors. We hope that you continue to support the Arts in North Dakota!
We are sorry to announce that myNDarts will be closing its virtual doors as of 1/5/2015.
Over the past several years, the North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA), Arts North Dakota (AND), the North Valley Arts Council (NoVAC) and several regional partners have developed what is today known as myNDarts.com (formerly Culturepulse.org). AND acquired ownership of Culturepulse.org from NoVAC in the Fall of 2011. In January of 2013 myNDarts.com was officially launched.
AND has reviewed its current priorities and in a decision to refocus our resources back to the organization’s foundational goal of advocacy, we have decided we were no longer able to support the website with financial and time resources. We still feel that a successful implementation of a statewide arts calendar could have benefits to tourism, local arts organizations, individual artists, and community art enthusiasts. A request for proposals was distributed to find interested parties but unfortunately an organization who could allocate the time and finances required was not found.
We hope that you will still remain the great artists, advocates, and supporters that comprised the myNDarts/Culturepulse community these past years. We encourage all of you to seek out your local art agencies and councils and continue the great things that you have showcased on our website.
If you submitted content to myNDarts.com, your data will be available to download, upon request, until 12/31/2014. After this date, all photos and data will be permanently deleted from the servers.
We hope you will follow the work of Arts North Dakota and help us advocate for something that is so important to so many… the arts. Thank you again for your commitment to us over the years!
